About Me

Chef Greg Moore

I was overweight my entire life.

I grew up fat. I became a chef. Food was comfort, celebration, stress relief, and routine all wrapped into one, and for over 20 years I tried everything imaginable to lose weight and become a normal-sized person.

Every crash diet. Every fad. Every “life-changing” program that promised fast results.

But the reason I kept failing wasn’t because I was lazy or weak. It was because every program expected me to completely change who I was overnight, and that’s not how real people actually move through life.

I eventually lost 225 pounds over roughly two and a half years by doing the exact opposite.

I didn’t start by trying to overhaul my entire life. I didn’t punish myself. I didn’t ban foods I loved. I didn’t even exercise during the weight loss itself.

Instead, I changed one habit at a time and refused to move on to the next habit until the previous one felt natural and sustainable.

That philosophy became Change a Little, Live a Lot.

This program is designed to help people build real, lasting change, patiently, and without shame, because slow and steady really does win the race.

How It Works

Start Small

We focus on one manageable change at a time instead of overhauling your entire life overnight.

Build Real Habits

Nothing changes until the previous habit feels natural, sustainable, and realistic for your life.

No Shame

There’s no punishment here. No guilt. No “starting over.” Just progress and consistency.

Learn Your Triggers

We work on understanding hunger, stress eating, boredom eating, and emotional habits around food.

Stay Human

You don’t have to give up the foods you love or become obsessed with perfection to make progress.

Create Lasting Change

The goal isn’t a crash diet. The goal is building a lifestyle you can actually live with long-term.

FAQ

Do I have to give up foods I love?

No. This program is built around sustainability,

not restriction. The goal is to improve your relationship with food, not punish yourself.

Do I need to exercise?

Not at first. I lost 225 pounds without exercise during the weight loss itself. Building habits comes first.

What makes this different from other programs?

Most programs try to change your entire life overnight. This approach focuses on one realistic habit at a time until it becomes natural.

What if I’ve failed diets before?

So had I. For over 20 years. Failure doesn’t mean you’re broken — it usually means the plan wasn’t realistic for real life.

Is this personalized?

Yes. Everybody’s habits, routines, triggers, and relationship with food are different. This isn’t a copy-paste meal plan.

Is this about fast weight loss?

No. It’s about lasting change. Slow and steady really does win the race.
